Help Support Pay It Forward Day 2019! (Thursday 25th – Sunday 28th April)

Are you planning activities to support Pay It Forward Day? We want you to tell us all about it!

For the last two years across Sefton, activities and acts of kindness have taken place that demonstrate the generosity and collaboration of people,  who live and work in the borough, to give without thought for personal gain.

Last year Pay It Forward Day in Sefton was amazing.  From making a first donation to a foodbank to giving away a family season ticket, across Sefton people paid forward gifts of the head the heart and the hand.

This year we have an opportunity to support more activity across the borough and would like to ensure that we can reach as many people as possible. The theme of this year is “Our Gift to You, Your Gift to Give”.

We would really like to support you in spreading the word that Sefton is a place that Pays It Forward across the Borough. Examples of things that have happened in Sefton in previous years include:

  • A community meal
  • Sewing a Wild flower meadow
  • Giving books away
  • Giving away planters and bulbs
  • A free music concert
  • Giving away bunches of flowers
  • Buying a coffee for a stranger
  • Free cakes in the cafe
  • Free car wash
  • Paying for someone’s parking

We would like your organisation to take part in making Pay It Forward Day 2019 a day to remember!

Although Pay it Forward Day is Sunday 28th April we would like organisations to support activities over the full weekend, from Thursday 25th to  Sunday 28th .  No matter how big or how small the activity we’d like to hear from you. Contact us directly at;

Whatever activities you do to Pay it Forward please let us know by sharing your pictures and stories using #PayItForwardSefton

‘We can all change the world together, through one random act of kindness’
