Payroll Giving is a way for you to donate to Sefton 4 Good from your wages or pension before it is taxed. A donation amount of your choosing, from as little as £1 a month is paid directly through your employer’s Pay as you Earn (PAYE) scheme.
The benefit of payroll giving is that it gives more money to charity at no more cost to you! This is because the tax you would pay on your donation is given to Sefton 4 Good! You only pay tax on what is left in your pay check.
Payroll Giving is a great, tax efficient way to make a regular donation to the charity without you having to do anything once it is set up. It’s really simple; just ask your employer
You can increase, decrease or cancel your donation at any time by asking your employer. To set up Payroll Giving contact your HR department. If they already have a scheme in place you can donate with your next pay check. If they need to set a scheme up please read below.
