Project MINIBUS – Help support Sefton Sea Cadets raise funds for a new minibus – DONATE NOW

Target: £7,500.00

Sea Cadets Sefton is based in Litherland, Merseyside and is a uniformed Youth Organisation and Charity based on the traditions and ethos of the Royal Navy and other maritime services.

Litherland is in the South of Sefton, and we rely heavily on our Unit transport, especially when we need to access wider events within the National, Area or District Sea Cadet organisation. A minibus would allow us to ensure that we can meet such demand and allow our young people the opportunity to get involved with such events and training.  Read more…

CROWDFUNDING APPEAL: Support access to food during the Summer Holidays

Target: £1,000.00

Many families are telling us that they find the school holidays particularly difficult because they rely on the free school meals during term time. In response, Sefton CVS is coordinating a network of community venues and local organisations that will be able to offer Children and Young People access to food during the holidays. This service is open access and is available to all regardless of income throughout the school holidays.

Sefton 4 Good are hoping to raise valuable funds to support the access to food initiative, and are appealing to the general public, local businesses and organisations to donate what they can.

All funds raised will go to support local not-for-profit voluntary, community and faith (VCF) sector organisations who are providing this service during the summer holidays. Read more…
