On Saturday 18th August 2018 (approx 5.30-6.30pm) a team of brave volunteers will be taking on a 150ft free fall drop over the main entrance of the iconic Liverpool Anglican Cathedral in a bid to raise funds for Sefton 4 Good. Our team of 10 Volunteers will be taking part in a bid to raise as much money as possible for Sefton 4 Good so we can continue to support local good causes across Sefton.

The Friends of Moorside Park is a Crosby based community group who strive to improve their local park for benefit of the community.
Several of the participants from the circuits & run club are taking part in our 7-7-7 fundraiser sponsored by Caloo Ltd (who installed the outdoor gyms across Sefton & the MUGA within the park).
The event will take place in Moorside Park on 7th July and participants will be taking part in 7 workouts in 7 hours (all of which will take advantage of the facilities within the park). Special thanks to Pioneer Fitness, Fitness Ninja, Be Yoga, Moorside Park Run Club & Zumba in the Park all of whom have donated their time to support this event and will be running the workouts through the day. Sea Cadets Sefton is based in Litherland, Merseyside and is a uniformed Youth Organisation and Charity based on the traditions and ethos of the Royal Navy and other maritime services.
Litherland is in the South of Sefton, and we rely heavily on our Unit transport, especially when we need to access wider events within the National, Area or District Sea Cadet organisation. A minibus would allow us to ensure that we can meet such demand and allow our young people the opportunity to get involved with such events and training. Read more…

Sefton Care Leavers Centre – Static Bike Challenge (December 2017)

Our Place, Sefton Care Leavers Centre, is a project managed by Venus to provide a range of support to looked after children and care leavers as they undertake the difficult transition from care to independence. We have planned a Static Bike challenge in order to raise vital funds to continue the postive work we are providing to Care leavers. The challenge is this….
We along with are partners, colleagues and service users will be aiming to cycle 874 Miles on a static bike over the course of one week. The total miles equates to a cycle route from John O’Groats to Lands end. All donations received will help us continue to offer support and services to Sefton Care Leavers. Read more…
The Docklands Trail: Heritage on the Dock Festival (September 2017)

The Docklands Trail will open the doors to 180 years of dockland history as well as a glimpse into the future at the new Seaforth container terminal. The trail will feature access to our historic ports’ water frontage and visitors will be offered a unique experience of visiting mini- museums, housed within shipping containers at sites on each of six docks located between Liverpool and Seaforth on Merseyside. Let’s Feed Sefton’s Schoolchildren 2017

Working alongside Sefton Council, Sefton 4 Good coordinated a borough-wide crowdfunding appeal titled ‘Let’s Feed Sefton’s Schoolchildren’ to provide lunch meals during the 6-week summer holidays. This appeal generated £2,185,00 in cash and food donations.
