Sefton 4 Good raises funds for local charitable good causes and encourages local people to come together to give their time, skills and resources.  

Sefton 4 Good is charity initiative of choice for those who are passionate about Sefton. Managed by Sefton CVS, we raise funds for local groups and causes. We want to help make the Borough of Sefton a great place to live and work by supporting local groups and organisations that make a difference in our community.

Through local fundraising activities, sponsorship, crowdfunding, online and text giving, Sefton 4 Good undertakes grant distributions to local voluntary, community and faith (VCF) groups.

We hope that these small-scale grants to local good causes will help to make our community thrive. Since we were formed, we have supported many local groups and organizations such as Sefton’s Ukraine Welcome Centre, the Afghan resettlement scheme, Formby Befriending, Compassion Acts, the Swan Centre and more. During the pandemic, we donated PPE to local community organisations.

Sefton 4 Good is not just about fundraising. We understand that communities are nothing without the people who live in them. This is why we host and organize, together with the Mayor of Sefton Office, the Citizens 4 Good Awards.  These awards are designed to recognize those that live in Sefton and who have made a difference to their community or the wider world.
